First time on the ice!
She did great. Heck they both did great!!!
I have to say I was just amazingly impressed at her determination... lol she is stubborn like her mom and kept going and going and going and did it! I know it helped that her big brother was out there too, she loves to keep up with him.
He did awesome as well!!!
Cars on the ice
He remembered from last year !!!
He did great... lol after the horsing around with his buddy Dylan lol.
Cars is the one in the grey and blue sweater.
Lil lady ... 5 min left and she was done! lol
She did SO great. I was blown away. Probably cause her big brother was out there and that made her even more determined :)

A look into our world... on a Friday evening
This is a look into our world on a friday evening. No we dont normally let the kids eat dinner in the living room, however it was a special night, mommy and daddy were having our home cooked (on the bbq) anniversary dinner ~ 6 YEARS ~ and so when daddy got called on on a call, it worked good to feed the kids while he was out on the call and me take advantage of my opportunity to get some grainy inside photos. I already had my (fav lens) 24-105mm f4L IS on the camera, so I went with it and embraced what I knew I could get from it indoors under lower light situations. LOVE all these photos. Captured their personalities completely to a T! Some of the photos I did use my speedlite flash, the grainy ones are at f4 and a higher ISO of 1600 or 3200. I could have used my 50mm and open up to f1.8, however I do love the grain from inside B&W photos... I love the feel and character of the photos.

Love her curls
I love this one of her with her curls. She has gorgeous hair and ... haha knows it. This one is so sweet.
Enjoying the rest of her "picnic dinner"
And Im totally embracing the grain! I used a mix of my speedlite flash and no flash for these. I love doing some B&W inside and having the grain there from high ISO - I was using my fav lens which can only open up to f4, if I had used my 50mm I could have opened to f1.8 and wouldn't have grain, however thats what I was going for :)
The boy.
Its rare I can get a photo of him not being silly lol, I still love this, its totally him and totally that moment lol. Plus it captures his tiny toes :)
