Tired lady... must. get. candy!
She was tired but what a trooper! This was after we were heading back into the cul de sac to get the van... she stopped and was eyeing up daddy with the wagon lol!

Little man on the ice
This was at the beginning of the skating season, he's now graduated to the next class. Yes... I 'forgot' about these photos hehe. It was awesome to find them and edit last night :)

Yes she can fold in half... awesome wouldn't that just be awesome for yoga lol mama ... ah not so flexible like that. Cutie thats her way of getting up hehe.

Ma Boy!
My little boy... love him to pieces ! He of course was IN bed when his sister wasn't so I just went in and captured him. LOVE this of him because its truly him at bedtime... both of these photos were lit only by their bedside lamps :)
My lady getting ready for bed
We were getting the kids ready for bed last night, daddy read them a book and I came into her room to tuck her in... and found her sitting on her dressing table and reading her books. What kind of mom would I be if I just said 'ok get down its bedtime'... nah thats not me at all ... I ran for the camera! Its not often I capture them at bedtime and since I still had my 50mm on the camera it was easy peasy! I love this one of her... I love this table it has a lot of meaning behind it and I am so greatful that my daughter gets it for her room!

Lazy Morning Today
The kids and I had a very lazy morning this morning, actually slept in until 744am! Hehe thats sooooo nice :) Then hubby left for work and we started our day with a cuddle between the lil lady and I. Once the lil man joined us we had breaky downstairs and they were quite happy to have a quiet morning and we read some books. Of course... yes my "quiet" mornings will involve photos hehe.
Well the laundry is on the line, dishes in the dishwasher and lunch on for the kiddos... then Im off to photograph a beautiful little 1 week old boy and 7 week old girl! EXCITED... even more excited to have Andrea join me :) Its gonna be fun!!!
Learning games...
Its like mommy's computer too so he loves it lol. Hes actually awesome on the laptop, its kinda scary ;)
We made scrapbook pages
I was cleaning out my ottoman the other day to make room for my "studio" equipment lol and found a TON of scrapbook stuff from MANY years ago... I know I will never use it as Im all about everything digital ;) So after I got supper started I sat down with the kids and let them choose some pages and pics and we made their own pages :)

Bring back the sunshine
This is fitting for the day... overcast and rainy... such a wonderful fall day - NOT ! I had such a great time photographing this weekend that this weather is almost depressing lol. Ah well... that just means even more enjoyment looking at the photos from the weekend ;)
So we got a call this weekend... Friday night actually... what a way to start a long weekend, we had an offer in on a place just outside of town and they had another offer come in. Seriously!? This place was on and off the market for 2 yrs and now this happens. Ah well. We went into it with a very open mind that "whats meant to be will be" . So sure there was disappointment but we cant be upset over it. September was a slow month for the house, we did have some showings but not alot and they were towards the end of the month. So we are stepping out on faith... this is totally not me - I like to plan lol, even though our "plans" normally dont go the way we "planned" them. But its also exciting. Who knows what could happen... and that excites me! We wont be broken hearted if our place doesn't sell, its a good house, we have it how we want it and most of all its our family that makes it our home :) My awesome hubby reminded me of that last Friday night, and he's soooo right. Wherever our family is, is where home is for us.
Ok yes though, now that I have it in my mind that we were moving... I would like to sell and move on. We've done some MAJOR improvements to this place and although there are a few things left, they are a few things that a new owner could totally make "theirs" .
So we shall see... until then the planner in me is pulling at the 'just let it ride' side of me lol, thats the best part of our marriage, Im the "planner" and hubby is more the "go with the flow" ... so we sit back and wait and just enjoy being in this home as a family. If its right for us, it will sell and if not the Christmas decorations are coming out as soon as the listing runs out LOL! ;)
On a really FUN note!
I gave out 2 burned CD's yesterday of photos... 1 to the awesome Gillies family who I photographed on Saturday and the other to my SIL who was over at mom and dads for family pics and thanksgiving on Monday :) Although the entire family pic was a sad sad photo lol everyone elses turned out awesome and she was thrilled. It truly warmed my heart hearing the awesome words of thanks and happiness both from the Gillies family and my own family for the moments I captured and provided them with. THAT is exactly why I love photography, why I edit as many photos as I can and why yes... I tend to "over shoot" lol. But to hear the happiness it makes that extra editing time SOOOO worth it. Which is also why I had to edit them right away ;)

I LOVE this photo. Yes its not posed - well kinda lol they had direction that is a big secret of mine haha give them very subtle direction ;) But its very natural. Thats what I go for with my photos!

Visitors in the Sun
I had to stop and see these guys. They were very curious as to what I had up at my face lol. The miss and I were out enjoying the park and minutes after we left she was out, so what better than to enjoy the quiet while driving our beautiful countryside! Earlier she came up to me and said 'mommy can I get dressed up and go to the park'... I respond with... 'can mommy take pictures of you' ... my answer from the lil lady -'oh yes mommy lets go get dressed up and take pictures' hehe love that girl!

I totally encourage it! Yes if you were to drive by our house there would be many times I would be dancing hehe somtimes its all you need!

Beautiful Fall Sky!
This is one of the reasons I just LOVE fall. It is my favourite season. The colours are sooooo rich and bright.

Oct 2, 2010 Pats vs Walkerton || Mount Forest Photographer
Last night the Mount Forest Patriots played Walkerton in rematch after their game in Walkerton Friday night. The boys played awesome! Really made Walkerton work for their goals. It was a very close game with the final score being 5-3 - the last goal for Walkerton was a total fluke... open net with seconds left. If the boys had just a bit more time they would have claimed the win!

Cheering on the Mount Forest Patriots!
The Pats played Walkerton tonight... in rematch from last night. Last night didn't go well for the boys, tonight though they certainly showed Walkerton that they do know the game on home ice! They played awesome and the score was very close... with only seconds left Walkerton scored their 5th goal... in an empty net - fluke right! ;) Up until that point it was 4-3 for Walkerton and the boys were playing hard to get it tied up. Next time Walkerton... watch out for the Mount Forest Patriots!

Lil lady in relax mode!
The kids were very much in a relax mode last night so we just enjoyed hanging out while waiting for Grama and Auntie Erin to come over for pizza since Daddy and Gramp had other plans... well Coburn I guess was with them too lol.
Tried a new web size action on these... Im not liking it, its sharpening the photos too much... will go back to the way I was doing it before!
And Im off now... busy night... see my other blog for some skating photos www.pamelazmija.blogspot.com. Hubby is just getting home, off to go see him!
